You can keep up to date with all the SAMS Cafe events by reading the quarterly SAMS Newsletter.

            
The Café is held at SAMS Centre on the fourth Friday of every month.

USE IT OR LOSE IT!!

Due to a low uptake of appointments at SAMS Café, the MS Nurse will only be present every other month.

If this continues it is possible that the MS Nurse will not be able to hold clinics at SAMS Cafes at all

Please do ask for all your appointments to be made at the Café or we will soon be making that awful journey to the hospital experiencing great problems with parking.

CHANGE OF OPENING TIMES

When a nurse is not available, the Café will not now open until 11am.  (See details below)

BENEFITS ADVISORS

Due to job reorganisation within the service, a benefits advisor will not be available at every café.  They will attend on request, please contact Liz to arrange an appointment.       

APPOINTMENTS AT SAMS CAFE

Regardless of where you live you can choose to have your appointments with the MS Nurses at SAMS Café.

People choose to see the nurses at SAMS Café as they find

• Parking is very easy
• The building has level access
• The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed

If you decide you would like to give the Café a try then give Sandra, the MS Nurses secretary, a ring on 01782 555098 and your future appointments will be at the Café.

It’s as easy as that !!!!!!............but you must ring NOW….do not wait for your appointment to be sent.

Drop-in Appointments at SAMS Cafe

A MS Nurse is present at SAMS Cafes in the first instance to see people with prearranged appointments.

However she may also be able to see people who have something niggling them, from new symptoms to medication or who simply want to speak to her.

In order to ensure that you will be seen and to make the best use of available time the MS Nurses would like to have your patient notes with them. 

The MS Nurses have therefore requested that if you would like a ‘Drop-in style’ appointment please contact Sandra, the MS Nurses’ secretary on 01782 555098 and tell her you wish to speak to the MS Nurse at the next SAMS Café.

Do you have a problem understanding computers?

If so then drop in to SAMS Cafè between
11.00a.m to 12.30p.m

Nick will be available in order to attempt to solve your problems
