A number of online presentations, as shown below, have been created to explain the scientific links between MS, diet and vitamin D deficiency. Ashton Embry PhD, has produced two such presentations, shown in 1-3 below, to explain his Best Bet Diet approach for the treatment and prevention of MS. The presentations are narrated by his son Matt whose diagnosis at the age of 18 was the catalyst for Ashton's incredible search to uncover the cause of the condition, and whose symptoms were aleviated after starting the diet. The fourth presentation is a "must see" for anyone diagnosed with the condition, or their loved ones. It is by Dr Rheinhold Veith, from Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, an expert in the field of vitamin D supplementation. The fifth presentation, by Loren Cordain PhD, is a landmark lecture that outlines, in detail, the latest research linking MS with the modern western diet. - Nutritional Strategies for Controlling MS.
- Preventing MS. (Low Bandwidth Version).
- Preventing MS. (High Bandwidth Version)
- Prospects for Vitamin D Nutrition by Rheinhold Veith.
- Loren Cordain's Calgary Lecture.
- Michael Holick - The Vitamin D Pandemic and its Consequences.
- Up From the Chair - Terry Wahls Calgary Lecture.
