 MSRC firmly believes that our role is simply to act as a conduit for people to share their thoughts, experience and knowledge. We believe that given sufficient information anyone who visits our website is capable of making their own decisions appropriate for their lives given the maximum information. The philosophy of the MSRC is to only pass on comments from anyone affected by MS about anything to do with MS rather than ever just pushing a view of our own. We will therefore not endorse any drug, treatment or product simply to make money - much as we need it! This means that we must remain reliant on you to survive. Funding is one of our major concerns, but if everyone who knows about the MSRC were to hold a coffee morning or a pub darts match for us every so often, you could transform the work that we can do. Quite simply, a lot of people doing a little can make a big difference when all their efforts come together. We support all those who fundraise for us, with personalised sponsor forms, TeamMSRC Shirts, posters, campaign letters and collecting boxes. We will help you 'help us' in any way we can. We want to show how much we appreciate and depend on your efforts. MSRC does not have a separate fundraising department. Our small team fit this vital task into their already busy schedules and in this way keeps costs to a minimum. All posters and sponsor forms etc are produced in the office too - and you will be surprised at just how good we are able to make them, and just how we individually theme them to your chosen event. If 10,000 people could raise just £10 each for MSRC, that would create a lot of money and would mean that everyone would make a huge difference, because no matter how small your contribution might seem it becomes really significant when combined with others. MSRC is very much about the power of working together and we hope you will become involved in supporting our work - and encouraging others to do the same.
