Having an illness like MS affects not just the person, but their whole family as well. Adjustments have to be made to accommodate for the changes MS can bring. A loving husband or wife may have to start doing more for their partner, or even take on the role of a 'carer'. Children may feel scared or confused by what is happening to their Mum or Dad. It is vital that all members of the family get the support that they need to cope with what is happening. If you are a Carer, or someone affected by MS please remember you can always call our freephone Counselling Service on 0800 783 0518 (Option 1) Within this section we want to bring you, the Carer, as much information as possible to aid you and help bring some relief to what is, for some, a full time job. If you are a Carer and would like to add anything, you think is important, or maybe a humerous or serious story to this section, please contact the MSRC by clicking here, or drop us an email on [email protected] Action For Family Carers Supporting Young Adult Carers Initiative
