Emotional HealingEmotional well-being and Multiple Sclerosis appear to be in some way connected. It makes sense that if you are happy, your immune system will function better and that has to be good in terms of MS and your overall sense of well-being.

    Emotional Freedom Technique

Here's an interesting webpage. It's a about an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) - a universal healing aid - which is helping many people to free themselves from the past and move forward with their lives.

Their theory is that the cause of all negative emotion is the disruption of the body's energy system, triggered by a distressing memory. The technique interrupts this process so that the memory no longer triggered the energy field disruption and hence the negative emotion. The technique teaches you how to diagnose the energy imbalances through some unique muscle testing diagnostic techniques.

The essence of the EFT is that you repeat affirmations of acceptance of yourself regarding a particular issue in your life, whilst rubbing on the "sore spot" or "karate chop" point on your body.
